Subterranean autonomy · our approach

Send machines.
Leave the web.

Denied ground punishes the assumptions the rest of autonomy is built on. No satellites overhead. No network to fall back on. No second chance to send a person in. Our approach starts there.

Most autonomy assumes a clear sky and a live link. Underground and inside structures, both are gone. The systems that win that ground have to navigate without GPS, act without a network, and be cheap enough that losing one is a decision, not a loss. That is a different problem, and it demands machines designed for it from the first line up.

Clear the tunnel.
Then hold it.

Clearing is a moment. Presence is the advantage. Below ground, we build machines that do both.

01
Go in first
Machines take the first step into the dark, so people don't have to.
02
Stay
Persistence over passage. Systems that hold ground and keep sensing after the team has gone.
03
Trust the ground
US-origin, end to end, for the places where a clean supply chain is the whole point.

Vestige is founder-led and US-origin by design. We say less than a company selling software, because this ground rewards restraint. What we will say is simple: the subterranean is where the fight increasingly lives, and the force that owns it will be the one that sent machines to hold it. If that is the problem you are working, reach out.
